    Open the .dmg and drag to Applications

    Open TransKey

    Find TransKey in Applications or use Spotlight (⌘Space β†’ type TransKey).

    Allow the app to open (one-time)

    If macOS shows "cannot be opened", go to System Settings β†’ Privacy & Security β†’ scroll down β†’ click "Open Anyway" next to TransKey.

    Grant Accessibility permission

    TransKey needs Accessibility to read selected text. In the dialog, click "Open System Settings", then toggle TransKey on.

    Sign in

    Log in with the same email as your transkey.app account. Your plan and quota sync instantly.

Troubleshooting

"Cannot be opened" message on macOS

Open System Settings β†’ Privacy & Security, scroll down, click "Open Anyway" next to TransKey, and enter your password.

TransKey doesn't detect selected text

Open System Settings β†’ Privacy & Security β†’ Accessibility. Ensure TransKey is listed and toggled on. If not, click + and add it from the Applications folder.
